MAB was set up in 2000 with the clear aim of being the UK’s leading specialist broker in estate agency financial services. Today we have over 1250 advisers working across 1800 estate agency branches from marketing leading 1 branch firms, to some of the very largest independents in the UK. The majority are introducers, which means we provide the adviser full time in the branch, part-time, or at the end of the phone depending on opportunity/ business requirement. Others set up their own in-house mortgage business under MAB where they take on the advisers themselves. Either way MAB understand the types of advisers best suited to estate agency and where to find them, and how to best generate leads, with the best of print and digital marketing to help introduce the service, and bespoke IT solutions providing website search tools and calculators, as well as supporting lead referral and on-line progress updates for estate agency staff/ management.
MAB also has some great solutions for tenants and landlords to optimise significant opportunities from this valuable client base. The commission you are paid can be a fixed fee per mortgages or a percentage of the revenue generated. The key thing here is how many mortgages are written from your opportunities, and the value of the mortgage transactions, otherwise what seems a high percentage pay away can amount to very little. MAB will be completely transparent on the commercial aspects so that we work together to understand how to deliver the best possible customer experience whilst generating the optimum revenue for your business. Mortgage commissions vary based on lead volumes and which model you set up under.
We integrate directly with the lenders but that does not involve the agent. We will deliver a bespoke microsite for your mortgage services and well as deliver online marketing collateral through any digital comms suppliers your use such as Brief Your Market.
Setup / Onboarding
If you’re an introducer the process should take no more than a week.
If you employ your own mortgage advisers as an appointed representative of MAB then 6 weeks should be allowed.
